Alexander Technique

What is the Alexander Technique?

The Alexander Technique is a method of re-education for using ourselves as a body-mind unity, which was developed by F. M. Alexander (1869-1955) who was an actor bone in Tasmania.

We are made to function as a whole, however our habitual pattern could interfere this unity, and may bring us pain/ tension/ mental stress/ etc. If we recognize this habitual pattern to stop reacting to it and follow the present moment, we will be able to choose lighter/ freer/ easier ways to use ourselves as a harmonized whole being.

The technique can be applied to various activities from simple everyday movements to complex performances.
